A two-day workshop on ‘Military in Internal Security Operations’ (MISO) concluded successfully at the Security Forces Headquarters (Central) on 02 July 2025.

A solemn military funeral was held on 01 July 2025 at the new crematorium of the General Cemetery, Borella, to bid farewell to the late Brigadier A.P.D Edirisuriya (Retd) KSV. The ceremony was attended by a large gathering of military personnel, dignitaries, and mourners who came together to honour the distinguished officer’s service to the nation.
