Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Commander, Security Forces (West) and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers (SLE), applauded Warrant Officer II I.G.S.B.J Ihalagedara of the 9th Field Engineer Regiment for being named the ‘Best Drill Instructor’ at the Army Inter-Regiment Drill and Pace Stick Competition 2024.

An eye and medical clinic was successfully conducted at Muhaththankulam Government Tamil Medium School, Cheddikulam, on 11th January 2025, under the guidance of Major General J.P.C Peiris RWP RSP ndc, Commander, Security Force (Wanni), and directions of the General Officer Commanding of the 21 Infantry Division.
The Headquarters Logistic Command celebrated its 45th Anniversary on 8th January 2025 with a series of military formalities, under the guidance of Major General E.M.M Fernando Hdmc Lsc AATO, the Commander, Logistics Command, at the Regimental Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps and Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps premises in Panagoda.
