The discussion focused on assessing the prevailing adverse weather conditions and further strengthening and coordinating ongoing disaster-relief operations across the affected regions.

Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, paid a visit to the Emergency Safety Centre established at Rajasinghe College, Wellampitiya, on 29 November 2025 to assess the wellbeing of affected residents and review the ongoing disaster-relief operations in the area.

The military funeral of the late Brigadier W.V.S. Botejue (Retd) RWP RSP psc of the Gemunu Watch was held at the General Cemetery, Borella, on 27 November 2025.
