'Mullaitivu Commander's Cup Softball Cricket & Badminton Tournaments' Held on Grand Scale

On a concept of Major General M.K Jayawardena RSP VSV USP ndu, Commander, Security Forces - Mullaittivu, 'The Commander's Cup Softball Cricket Tournament and Badminton Tournament' were held separately at the Security Force HQ- Mullaittivu premises with the aim of improving the sportsmanship of serving officers and other ranks.

The Inter Battalion Cricket Tournament - 2023 of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) took place from 27 to 30 November at the Nuwara Eliya Municipal Council Ground. A total of 10 teams participated in the tournament. The 3 (V) Battalion of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment emerged as the champions pushing 21 Battalion of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment cricketers to the runner-up position.
