Army Initiative Benefits 190 Weherathenna Students

More than 90 students from V/Roshan Mahanama Primary school and 100 students from Maradamaduwa Primary school in Weherathenna on Wednesday (12 April) were the recipients of school aids, books and accessories as incentives, sponsored jointly by the former world-class cricketer, Mr. Roshan Mahanama and Mr Diwakara Rathnadurai, Director, SOS Children’s Village at Anuradhapura.

5 Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (SLEME) troops at the request of Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital authorities repaired 35 wheelchairs that remained unused at the hospital and delivered them back after necessary repairs were effected on Sunday (16 April).
