A delegation of former Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) Officers, along with their families, visited the 59 Infantry Division area in Mullaittivu on 16 and 17 November 2024. Troops of 2 (V) VIR Construct Two Houses

The troops of 2 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) constructed a new house for a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of the battalion at Lunupahichchawa, Madawachchiya. The project, carried out under the guidance of the Commanding Officer of 2 (V) VIR, was funded by contributions from retired and serving Officers and Other Ranks of 2 (V) VIR.
