The 100th Passing Out Parade (PoP) of the Sri Lanka Military Academy (SLMA) was graced by His Excellency the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Hon. Anura Kumara Dissanayake, as the Chief Guest, at the invitation of Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army. The Sri Lanka Military Academy in Diyatalawa honoured Mother Lanka on 21 December 2025 by commissioning 240 Officer Cadets.
Coinciding with the Christmas celebration, troops of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) assisted in painting, repairing the water tank and laying pipelines at St. Mary’s Church in Avissawella, responding to a request from Reverend Father Tiran Perera. The Wall of Fame depicts former Commanders of the Army, from General S.H.S. Kottegoda (Retd) WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc, up to the present Commander of the Army, along with their official portraits and rare photographs taken during their formative years as cadet officers at the Sri Lanka Military Academy.
