Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, the Commander of the Security Forces (West) and the Commandant (Overlooking) of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF), awarded financial grants to Officers pursuing advanced military studies at the SLAVF Headquarters on 10th January 2025.

Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, paid a courtesy visit to the Army Base Hospital in Kandy on 14th January 2025 to review its operational aspects and receive updates on its current functionality.

Major General R.P.A.R.P. Rajapaksa RSP was invited to the office of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, on 15th January 2025, along with his family members, prior to his retirement from the Sri Lanka Army.

The Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) bade farewell to Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, the outgoing Commandant of SLAVF, during a brief ceremony held on 03rd January 2025 at the SLAVF premises in Kosgama.
