The Colombo Army Hospital conducted an awareness programme under the ‘Healthy Army - Healthy Nation’ project to educate student Officers of Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC), Sapugaskanda on prevention from non-communicable diseases. The event took place on 16 March 2024, at the College premises under the supervision of Brigadier A.S.M. Wijewardhane USP.

Troops of 7 SLAC Complete Battalion Training Course

The troops of the 7th Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) completed their Battalion Training Course at the Security Force Headquarters – Wanni Battalion Training School in Galkulama. The course commenced on 17 January 2024 and concluded on 5 March 2024. Major General H.H.K.S.S. Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, the General Officer Commanding of the 21 Infantry Division, graced the closing ceremony as the chief guest.

11 SLA Concludes Battalion Training

The 11 Sri Lanka Artillery (11 SLA) troops underwent Battalion training course at the Battalion Training School, Alankulam from 17 January 2024 to 05 March 2024. 12 Officers and 368 Other Ranks participated in the course.

The troops of the 18 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) completed their Battalion Training Course at the Security Force Headquarters - East Battalion Training School in Punani. The course commenced on 16 January 2024 and concluded on 4 March 2024. Major General W. Chandrasiri RSP USP psc, the General Officer Commanding, the 24 Infantry Division, graced the closing ceremony as the chief guest.
