143 Brigade Troops Prevent Breach of Tank Bund

1 Sri Lanka National Guard troops of the 143 Brigade under the 14 Division in Wariyapola area had to stack sand bags around Anumethiyagama Tank bund in Hendiyapola today (27) in order to seal a leakage in the tank band. A total of 15 Army personnel attended to the emergency and prevented the piercing of the tank further.
