Major General D.K.S.K. Dolage USP nps psc, Chief of Staff of the Army, made a series of official visits to the under-command establishments of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers on 15, 18, and 19 February 2026.

The 16th Sri Lanka Force Protection Company (SLFPC) conducted its first Contingent-Owned Equipment (COE) inspection for the year 2026 on 16 February 2026. The inspection was conducted by a team of 13 officials from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) at Sri Base in Naqoura.

16 வது இலங்கைப் பாதுகாப்பு படைக் குழு 2026 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்கான முதலாவது படைவீரர்களுக்குச் சொந்தமான உபகரண ஆய்வை 2026 பெப்ரவரி 16 அன்று வெற்றிகரமாக முடித்தது. லெபனான் ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் இடைக்காலப் படையின் 13 அதிகாரிகள் கொண்ட குழுவால், நகௌராவில் உள்ள ஸ்ரீ முகாமில் இந்த ஆய்வு மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது.

Brigadier R.P. Munipura (Retd) RWP RSP passed away on 1 January 2026 following an acute medical condition while receiving treatment at the Base Hospital, Kiribathgoda. He was 55 years old at the time of his demise.
