The Passing Out Parade of Air Assault Course No: 31 was held on 09 April 2026 at the Airmobile Training School.
Major General G.A.T. Godewatte RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding of the 53 Infantry Division (RSF), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Five Officers and 99 Other Ranks successfully completed the course.
Special awards were presented to the following individuals in recognition of their outstanding performance:
Best Shooter
Corporal B.M.P. Ediriweera of 1st Battalion, the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment.
Best in Physical Training
Lance Corporal D.G.N.E. Premachandra of 12th Battalion, the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.
Best Student
Corporal B.M.P. Ediriweera of 1st Battalion, the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment.
Senior officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
