The Sharp Shooters 2026 – Level II Firing Competition, organized by the Hill Country Sports Shooting Club in Kandy in collaboration with the International Practical Shooting Confederation Sri Lanka (IPSC SL), was conducted from 26 to 29 March 2026 with the participation of Tri Forces personnel and civilian shooters.
The event was conducted under strict safety protocols in line with international standards. The competition featured a series of challenging firing stages designed to test accuracy, speed, weapon handling and tactical proficiency across Shotgun, Rifle, Handgun and Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) categories.
Sri Lanka Army shooters delivered an exceptional performance, securing several top positions in multiple categories. Their achievements reflected their professionalism, discipline and high standards of marksmanship, further strengthening the Army’s standing in competitive shooting.
