Brigadier Y.K.S. Rangika psc ptsc relinquished his duties as the 17th Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Engineer Services (CES) on 04 April 2026 at the Regimental Headquarters.
Upon his arrival, the outgoing Colonel Commandant was accorded a ceremonial Guard Turnout, followed by the laying of a wreath at the War Heroes’ Monument and a ceremonial parade. Thereafter, he was invited to pose for a group photograph with Officers of the Corps of Engineer Services.
Later, he addressed all ranks and recorded his remarks in the visitors’ book. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
