Troops of the 3rd Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (3 SLSR) swiftly responded to a sudden wildfire that broke out in Wavenden Forest Reserve, Garadiella, Ramboda on 07 March 2026.
Army personnel promptly controlled the fast-spreading blaze in the dense jungle and challenging terrain, preventing further environmental damage despite hazardous conditions.
