The Sri Lanka Army emerged as the overall champions of the 13th Defence Services Games. The tournament, hosted by the Sri Lanka Army, commenced with its inaugural ceremony on 12 September 2024 and featured 39 sports.
The grand closing ceremony was held on 12 January 2026 at the Army Indoor Stadium, Panagoda, under the patronage of the Hon. Deputy Minister of Defence, K.P. Aruna Jayasekara (Retd) WWV RSP VSV USP ndc psc. The event was attended by tri-service Commanders, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks representing all three services.
At the conclusion of the tournament, the Sri Lanka Army secured first place by winning 157 Gold, 131 Silver and 108 Bronze medals, along with 31 championship trophies.
The Sri Lanka Air Force claimed second place by winning 99 Gold, 99 Silver and 108 Bronze medals, and securing 30 championship trophies.
The Sri Lanka Navy finished third overall, earning 46 Gold, 66 Silver and 97 Bronze medals, following commendable performances across a wide range of sporting disciplines.
