Major General G.D.J.C. Prematilaka USP ndc psc assumed duties as the 07th Director General Research, Concept and Doctrine of the Sri Lanka Army on 07 January 2026 at the Directorate premises.
Following the formal proceedings, the newly appointed Director General addressed all ranks of the Directorate. In his address, he highlighted the critical role of research, conceptual development and doctrinal formulation in enhancing the Sri Lanka Army’s future operational effectiveness.
Senior officers, officers and other ranks participated in the event.
