The 51 Infantry Division carried out a special Christmas almsgiving programme on 25 December 2025 at the Mother Teresa Elders Home, Irupalai, Kopay, with the aim of strengthening social cohesion and promoting humanitarian values.
During the programme, lunch was provided and essential sanitary items were distributed among 40 elderly residents of the home. In addition, troops of the 51 Infantry Division undertook a cleaning of the elders’ home premises, contributing to the improvement of their living environment.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Major General M.R. Razick RSP ndu, General Officer Commanding of the 51 Infantry Division.
