The Physical Training Instructor Courses concluded with a formal passing-out ceremony on 19 December 2025 at the Army Physical Training School (APTS), Panagoda.
The event was graced by Brigadier B.A.D.R.A.C. Wijeyesekera RSP ctf-ndu USACGSC, Director Training, as the Chief Guest.
A total of 199 trainees successfully completed their respective courses, comprising 19 Officers from the Senior Physical Training Instructors Course No. 20, 12 Instructors from the Advanced Physical Training Instructors Course No. 50, 132 Other Ranks from the Assistant Physical Training Instructors Course No. 135 and 36 Instructors from the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 04 Course.
During the ceremony, awards were presented to the Best All-Round Students who demonstrated outstanding performance throughout their respective courses. The award recipients were:
Captain H.L.T. Kavinda of the 1st Battalion, Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers - Senior Physical Training Instructors Course No. 20
Lance Corporal D.A.S. Madushan of the 1st Commando Regiment - Advanced Physical Training Instructors Course No. 50
Lance Corporal S.D. Manik Athula of the 4th Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police - Assistant Physical Training Instructors Course No. 135 (Female)
Lance Corporal H.J.T.S. Weerawardhana of the 3rd Commando Regiment - Assistant Physical Training Instructors Course No. 135 (Male)
