Nestlé Sri Lanka extended its support to the Sri Lanka Army’s ongoing relief efforts by donating stocks of Nescafé, Nestea and Nestomalt products valued at over Rs. 8.5 million on 03 December 2025 at Army Headquarters.
Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, formally received the donation from Mr. Bernhard Stefan, Managing Director of Nestlé Sri Lanka. The contribution is intended to strengthen the welfare and sustenance of troops engaged in relief operations across the country.
The event was coordinated by Major General K.V.N.P. Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force, ensuring smooth facilitation of the distribution process.
Senior officers and representatives from Nestlé Sri Lanka were present at the occasion.
