In response to an urgent request from the Anuradhapura Blood Bank regarding a critical shortage of blood for kidney, cancer and thalassaemia patients, the 21 Infantry Division organised an immediate mobile blood donation campaign.
The programme was conducted on 25 November 2025 at the 21 Infantry Division, with the support of the Anuradhapura Blood Bank medical team, under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of the 21 Infantry Division and the Commander of the 212 Infantry Brigade.
Senior officers, officers, other ranks, and civilians generously donated blood during the campaign.
