Colonel R.A.N.P. Ranaveera (Retd) passed away on 29 October 2025 after a brief illness at the Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital. He was 55 years old at the time of his demise.
The mortal remains of the late Senior Officer will lie at his residence, No. 1143/25, Asiri Uyana, Malabe Road, Katukurunda, Kottawa, from 30 October 2025 onwards for final respects.
His funeral, with full military honours, will be held at the new crematorium of the General Cemetery, Kottawa, on 01 November 2025 at 3.00 p.m.
