In line with the 76th Army Day Celebration, the troops of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) repaired medical equipment at Kosgama Government Hospital. Major General K.V.N.P Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, Commandant of SLAVF, vested the equipment in the hospital authorities on 07 October 2025 during a simple ceremony.
Accordingly, seven wheelchairs, three trollies, eight saline stands, and beds, which had been out of service due to a shortage of maintenance, were restored with the assistance of troops from the Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Workshop, Kosgama.
Moreover, in response to a request from the hospital authorities, a two-day cleaning campaign was successfully conducted by the troops of SLAVF.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
