The United Nations Civil Military Coordination Course (UNCIMIC) Number 06 was conducted from 08 to 19 September 2025 at the Institute of Peace Support Operations Training Sri Lanka (IPSOTSL). The closing ceremony of the course took place on 19 September 2025.
Brigadier Y.M.S.C.B. Jayathilake RSP USP, Commandant of IPSOTSL, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and awarded certificates to the participants.
The course comprised of 20 Officers from the Sri Lanka Army, 02 Officers from the Sri Lanka Navy, and 02 Officers from the Sri Lanka Air Force, together with 09 foreign Officers from Bangladesh, Fiji, Indonesia, Mongolia, Nepal, and Vietnam.
The panel consisted of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from GPOI. Mrs. Tracey Martineau from Canada facilitated the course as the Team Leader, while Mr. Victor Manuel Nunez from Argentina and Brigadier General (Retd) Naresh Subba from Nepal served as other SMEs.
Senior Officers, Officers and Instructors of IPSOTSL participated in the event.
