The Infantry Training Centre (ITC), Minneriya, celebrated its 41st Anniversary on 25 August 2025. The Commandant paid tribute at the War Heroes’ Memorial, followed by a Guard Turnout and Guard of Honour. The day concluded with a musical show and an All Ranks Dinner.
Leading up to the anniversary, sports competitions in cricket, volleyball, basketball, elle, tug of war, and weapon training were conducted on 20 August 2025. Religious observances commenced with a dewala pooja at Minneriya, followed by a bodhi pooja at Nagalakanda Purana Rajamaha Viharaya on 23 August 2025, and culminated with an almsgiving to the Maha Sangha the next morning.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in all commemorative events.
