Under the guidance of the Commander of the Army and as part of the ‘Clean Sri Lanka programme the Battalion Training School Punani & 7th Light Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery(SLA) conducted a cleaning initiative on 04th February 2025 to mark Independence Day.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Commandant BTS Punani, and the Commanding Officer of the 7 SLA.
Troops of the Battalion Training School-Punani and 7 SLA, cleaned the Punani area (A-11 road) focusing on garbage removal and roadside cleaning. The initiative was carried out with the participation of 60 military personnel.
Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks took part in the event.
