The 2(V) Battalion the Gajaba Regiment constructed a new house for a needy family in Trincomalee under the supervision of 22 Infantry Division.
The construction materials and household furnishings were generously sponsored by Mrs. Nanda Rathnayaka and her family, coordinated by Major General P.A.M Peris (Retd).
The newly built house was vested in the beneficiary on 23 August 2025 by Major General S.A.U.A Solangaarachchi RSP ndc psc, Deputy General Officer Commanding of 22 Infantry Division.
Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and residents of the area participated in the occasion.
