The first-ever Sri Lanka Army Canoeing & Kayaking Championship 2025 was conducted from 24 to 26 August 2025 at the Diyawanna Rowing Academy with the participation of 85 players, representing 08 Regimental Centres.
Major General M.T.I. Mahalekam WWV RWP RSP USP, the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Army Canoeing & Kayaking Committee, graced the event as the Chief Guest.
The Sri Lanka Signal Corps secured the Championship title, while the Sri Lanka Light Infantry emerged as the Runners-up. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
