Troops of Security Force Headquarters (Central) conducted a school items donation programme on 22 August 2025 at Bandarawela Sri Maliyadeya Vidyalaya to support children from low-income families.
Major General K.A.W.N.H Bandaranayake USP, Commander, Security Forces (Central), graced the event as the Chief Guest. Mrs. N.D. Gunasekara, Chairperson of Protector Clothing Manufacturer (Pvt) Ltd, attended the event as Guest of Honour.
A total of 108 students received essential school items, including books, bags, shoes and other necessities. The programme concluded with a group photograph and a complimentary lunch for the students.
Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, the Principal, teachers, school staff and students attended the event.
