Security Force Headquarters (Central) Hosts Three-Day Mental Health Workshop

A three-day workshop on ‘Psychological Health and Prevention of Suicidal Attempts by Members of Armed Forces’ was conducted at the Security Forces Headquarters (Central) from 12 to 14 August 2025, under the guidance of Major General K.A.W.N.H Bandaranayake USP, Commander, Security Forces (Central).

The programme was conducted by mental health specialists from the Directorate of Prevention Medicine and Mental Health at Army Headquarters, including Brigadier (Dr) R.M.M Monaragala USP, Director, Colonel M.K.A.D Chandramal and Captain K.P.K Anthony.

Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers participated in the workshop.
