The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army, Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, visited the Directorate of Management and Maintenance on 22 July 2025 and inspected the ongoing maintenance and operational activities of the Directorate.
During the visit, the Deputy Chief of Staff inspected all technical sections under the Directorate, including the chiller room, fire protection and detection system, elevator system, high/low voltage electrical rooms, and rainwater harvesting system, along with their respective maintenance components and administrative areas.
The Deputy Chief of Staff engaged in discussions with Senior Officers of the Directorate regarding the current administrative and technical procedures and provided valuable guidance to further streamline operations.
Moreover, he appreciated the dedicated efforts of the Officers and Other Ranks of the Directorate in maintaining these critical systems efficiently and emphasised the importance of continuous supervision and preventive maintenance.
