Major General Y.A.B.M Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) of the Sri Lanka Army, conducted an official visit to the Army Hospital, Colombo on 09 July 2025.
During the visit, he held a discussion with all Directors regarding issues pertaining to the hospital and carried out an inspection of the hospital staff’s accommodation. He later observed the prevailing conditions and instructed the relevant authorities to initiate immediate corrective measures wherever shortcomings were identified.
The inspections extended further into several key functional areas of the hospital, including the patients’ documentation section, Outpatients Department (OPD), patients’ kitchen and pharmacy. He also inspected the15-storied building which is under construction.
The Adjutant General, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the visit.
