Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army graced a ceremony to grant financial assistance from the Army Welfare Fund for the improvement of infrastructure facilities at Regimental Centres on 02 July 2025 at the Army Headquarters.
Upon his arrival, the Commander of the Army was warmly received by Major General D.K.S.K Dolage USP nps psc, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army. The event commenced with an introductory video presentation outlining the significance of the initiative.
Following the presentation, the Commander, together with the Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff, ceremonially handed over financial grants in the form of cheques worth one million rupees to representatives of all respective Regiments.
