Major General D.K.S.K Dolage USP nps psc of the Sri Lanka Engineers assumed duties as the 67th Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army (the second most senior appointment in the Army) on 26 June 2025 at the Army Headquarters.
The formal ceremony, held at the Chief of Staff’s office, included the signing of official documents and the observance of religious rituals, invoking blessings for his new responsibilities.
He brings to the post a wealth of experience and strategic insight, having previously served in key appointments such as the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force, Commander Security Forces (Central) and the Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College.
His leadership in these roles has demonstrated his operational acumen and professional excellence.
The occasion was attended by Principal Staff Officers, Directors, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks, who gathered to extend their best wishes to the newly appointed Chief of Staff.
