Sri Lanka Army bade farewell to Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B. Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Chief of Staff (COS) of the Army, on 23 June 2025 in a formal military ceremony.
Upon his arrival, he was accorded a Guard Turnout and received by the Adjutant General of the Sri Lanka Army. Subsequently, he was ushered to the special saluting dais, where a Guard of Honour was accorded by the troops of the Gajaba Regiment.
After the ceremonial proceedings, the outgoing COS was invited to pose for a group photograph. Senior Officers, and Officers participated in the event.
