Sri Lanka Army bade farewell to Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) of the Army, on 20 June 2025 in a formal military ceremony.
Upon his arrival, he was accorded a Guard Turnout and was received by the Adjutant General of the Sri Lanka Army. Subsequently, he was ushered to the special saluting dais, where a Guard of Honour was accorded by troops of the Sri Lanka Engineers.
After the ceremonial proceedings, the outgoing DCOS posed for a group photograph with Senior Officers. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
