In support of the national "Clean Sri Lanka" initiative, the troops of 5 (V) Mechanized Infantry Regiment (MIR), conducted a comprehensive cleaning programme at St. Anne’s Church, Sippiaru, on 15th June 2025.
The programme was organized in response to a request made by the Rev. Father Peter Lowrance Liyon, the Chief Priest of St. Anne’s Church, and was carried out under the direct supervision of the Commanding Officer of the 5(V) MIR.
Officers and Other Ranks participated in the programme.
