The Annual Sports Meet of Dharmaraja College, Kandy, was held at the Lake View Park Ground on 12 March 2025. Major General M.G.W.W.W.M.C.B Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, the Chief of Staff, graced the event as the Chief Guest following an invitation from the School Principal. He is also a past pupil of Dharmaraja College.
The day's proceedings included various athletic competitions and students displayed their skills and sportsmanship. Following the events, the Chief of Staff addressed the students, encouraging them to strive for excellence in both academics and sports. At the end of his speech, he expressed his gratitude to the Principal, President, and all members of the Old Boys' Association for inviting him as the Chief Guest, representing Dharmaraja College as the highest-ranking military officer from the school.
During the award ceremony, he presented prizes to the top performers and the winning houses, recognising their sportsmanship. At the conclusion of the event, the Senior Officer was presented with a gift pack in appreciation of his valuable presence.
