The Sri Lanka Army Buddhist Association, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) and the Sri Lanka National Guard, celebrated Poson Poya Day by organising a ‘Seela Samadi’ programme at Sri Maha Bodhirajaramaya, Panagoda, on 10 June 2025 under the guidance of Major General D.K.S.K Dolage USP nps psc, Commandant of SLAVF.
During the programme, bodhi pooja, meditation sessions, religious observances and Pirith chanting were conducted by the Maha Sangha. The event aimed to invoke blessings on fallen war heroes, disabled soldiers, serving personnel, civil staffers, their families, and the nation.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the spiritual observances.
