The Sri Lanka Army conducted the third planning conference of the Russian-Sri Lanka Tactical Counter-Terrorist Exercise with a Russian military delegation at the Office of the Director General Infantry on 05 August 2025, under the guidance of Major General W.B.J.K Wimalaratne RWP RSP, the Director General Infantry.
The conference focused on finalising crucial administrative and logistic matters for the upcoming joint military exercise. Both sides engaged in productive discussions, ensuring that all aspects of the operation are meticulously organised. The event concluded with the exchange of mementoes as a gesture of mutual respect and appreciation.
