The Regimental Centre Special Forces organised a commemorative event on 12 July 2025, honouring the war heroes who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation. The event was held under the guidance of Major General M.T.I. Mahalekam WWV RWP RSP USP ndu psc, the Quarter Master General and Colonel of the Regiment, Special Forces.
The event began with a Perahera, followed by overnight Pirith chanting and an almsgiving ceremony to invoke blessings on the fallen war heroes.
