Major General M. M Sumanasena (Retired) of the Gemunu Watch (GW) who had been promoted to the Major General rank on 15 May 2010 was welcomed recently in a ceremony at GW Regiment Headquarters. The promotion ceremony was held at Gemunu Watch Regimental Center.
Colonel Commandant of the Regiment, Senior officers and Major General M. M Sumanasena’s wife Mrs Janaki Sumanasena also participated in the day’s event. All ranks participated in a tea party, held at its Officers’ mess.
