Major General M.R. Razick RSP ndu assumed duties as the 36th General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 51 Infantry Division on 18 October 2025.
Upon his arrival, the newly appointed GOC was accorded a guard turnout, followed by a ceremonial guard of honour, presented by troops of the 14th battalion Gajaba Regiment.
In accordance with military traditions, the senior officer planted a mango sapling at the Headquarters premises to mark the occasion. Thereafter, the GOC addressed all officers and other ranks of the division, expressing his confidence in their continued commitment and professionalism.
