Major General D.K.S.K Dolage USP nps psc assumed duties as the 24th Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers on 23 June 2025 at the Regimental Centre, Panagoda, in accordance with military traditions.
Upon arrival, the newly appointed Colonel Commandant was warmly received by the Centre Commandant and was accorded a Guard Turnout by the troops. Thereafter, the Senior Officer laid a floral wreath at the war heroes’ monument in memory of fallen war heroes of the Corps.
Following the formalities, the Colonel Commandant addressed the council members and all Officers of the Corps, outlining his vision and key objectives aimed at further strengthening the Corps’ unity, operational excellence and regimental spirit.
The day’s proceedings concluded with a tea gathering at the Officers’ Mess.
