Major General W.M.A.B. Wijekoon USP ndc assumed duties as the 29th General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 55 Infantry Division on 01 July 2025 at the 55 Infantry Division amidst military formalities.
After assuming duties, he addressed the troops and joined the All-Ranks tea. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
