The 12th Battalion of the Gamunu Watch conducted a dry ration distribution programme for 80 needy families on 11 August 2025 at the Dalukana GN Office.
The main sponsorship for the event was provided by Mrs Shiromi Masakorala, spouse of retired Major General Kumudu Perera RWP RSP VSV USP ndu.
The event was conducted under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), and under the close supervision of the General Officer Commanding, 24 Infantry Division.
