Major General Y.A.B.M. Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) of the Sri Lanka Army, conducted an official visit to the Sri Lanka Army Electrical & Mechanical Engineers Factory (SLAEMEF) on 05 August 2025.
During the visit, the Commandant of SLAEMEF conducted a detailed briefing regarding the projects carried out by the Factory, including ongoing projects, upcoming initiatives, the Small Arms Section and the servicing of vehicles. The DCOS also inspected the workshop premises, the Small Arms Section and the newly renovated Vehicle Assembly Workshop.
The Director General of EME and Colonel Commandant of the Regiment, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and civilian staff participated in the visit.
