Deputy Chief of Staff Visits 4 (V) Engineer Regiment SLE

Major General A.H.L.G Amarapala RWP RSP ndc psc, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, conducted an official visit to the 4 (V) Engineer Regiment SLE in Ratmalana on 02 June 2025.

The Senior Officer was welcomed in a Guard Turnout, followed by a group photograph and a briefing by the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel H.P.U Dasanayake USP SLE, on the regiment's duties and ongoing projects.

Addressing the troops, the Colonel Commandant emphasised discipline, professionalism and operational readiness, while encouraging all ranks to avoid illegal and drug-related activities. He also highlighted the Army’s support for the Government’s Clean Sri Lanka Initiative.

The visit concluded with an All-Ranks tea and the signing of the visitors’ book.
