The Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers conducted a cash donation programme in support of Ditwa-affected officers, other ranks and civil servants on 11 January 2026 at the Regimental Centre, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers.
The occasion was graced by Major General D.K.S.K. Dolage USP nps psc, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, as the chief guest. During the programme, a total sum of Rs. 1.4 million was distributed among 25 affected personnel.
Addressing the gathering, the Colonel Commandant commended the multidimensional disaster relief operations conducted by the Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, with particular emphasis on the restoration of essential public services, protection of key infrastructure and sustained support extended to affected communities across the island.
Senior officers, officers and other ranks participated in the event.
