Lieutenant Colonel Y.S.H.N.P Silva USP psc, the newly appointed Contingent Commander, paid a courtesy call on Major General Diodato Abagnara, the Head of Mission and Force Commander of UNIFIL, at the Mission Headquarters in Naqoura Camp on 26 July 2025.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Contingent Commander presented a memento on behalf of the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army to the Head of Mission and Force Commander, and the gesture was reciprocated.
